I’d like to quote Bill Mollison on this one. He did after all write the text for the permaculture design course!
“Permaculture is an ecological design methodology whereby we create relationships between minerals, plants, animals and humans so that their function and yield are optimized. The aim is to create systems that are ecologically sound and economically viable, which provide for their own needs, do not exploit or pollute and are therefore sustainable in the long term.”
I’ve summed it up as an alliteration.
Permaculture: People properly placing plants, pigs and potassium, providing proof of positive pattern potential!
